I wanted to write :(
Preethi Vesak every one !
Anithkona is enjoying Vesak at the other end of the country. The forces people have arranged many events. There is a dansala and pahan koodu pradarshanaya. Im seeing many Vesak lanterns around the area and people seem to enjoy the freedom and serenity even though the economical burden grows stronger each day. I cant believe its been 3 years since the war ended.
During this vesak season I came across a different kind of a budu guna geeya on youtube...Lyrics is so meaningful and the places shown on the video seem to have a historical value.
I wanted to write... more and more stories.. but everything seems to go towards the wrong direction
well, nothing's really wrong with life.. its blooming and changing everyday ! saving lives , devoting our selves as usual, to save a strangers life, over this end of the country, I'm a senior now and that means less work and more bossing around. More responsibilities and worries as well.
The only worry right now is my laptop, giving me trouble all the time..
The old one just died cause the battery couldnt stand this heavy fluctuating electricity. The geeks say there's a driver software error.. as well. It just shuts down on its own and when it wants. Some one who's an expert in the subject needs to have a good look at my beloved Mr Asus. so Im waiting for them to fix it.
Then after some time I got a new mini laptop from My wonderful brother. It is so handy to use.I was happy once again.. yeyii I could write but alas ! then the internet dongle stopped working. Finally overcame this by getting a new dongle.
Just my luck ! Now the mini lap wouldnt show sinhala unicode properly. Its got windows XP and google chrome. I've done what ever the geeks told me to do. Installed the correct pack and all but still it wouldnt show sinhala.
So I guess I have to wait until I get a normal sinhala typing facility.
Until then , Stand by me... :) I love the songs put together by "Playing for Change" It feels so good to know that there are others who want to change the world in a different way !
